A man called osominomho, was reportedly assaulted by a cult gangs at Okpella yesterday after he was accused wrongly of phone theft.
The information was made known to Okpella TV this morning by Ajie Clinic Okpella after the victim had been admitted for treatment.
According to the information gathered from the victim, he said that, he was accused of stealing a phone which was later recovered outside his custody, but before the phone was later found, Osominomho had already been beaten to stupor, leaving him to a life threatening injuries.
Dr Dele Ajie, who also gave his statements during the report, said he had drawn the attention of the DPO Okpella Police station to the situation.
As at the time of report, the suspected criminals are still on the run.
