While in the mood of Sallah celebration, Prince Balabare Afegbua, has urged the good people of Okpella, irrespective of their religion to take the chance of this Sallah to embrace, love peace and harmony.
This statement was declared today in one of Prince Balabare Afegbua’s press statements, released this morning, to mark Eid el-Kabir.
“This, indeed, is a time to be happy and celebrate another Salah. It’s a time to remember all that Allah has blessed us, individually and collectively, with.”
“As we are aware, the Eid el-Kabir festival is a test of our faith in the service of Allah and humanity.”
“Let us, therefore, use the occasion to remember the sacrifice and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to the will of Allah and to always submit ourselves to the will of the Almighty and in service to humanity.”
“On this occasion, I urge you all, both Muslims and Christians, to use this period of renewal of faith and thanksgiving to continue to preach peace, show love, understanding, tolerance and good neighbourliness amongst ourselves and humanity at large.”
